My homestead is a work in progress. And one might even go so far as to call it a blank canvas, although that wouldn’t be entirely accurate. Let’s just say, in true Permaculture fashion, I am working with Nature to rehabilitate this land. And I am documenting that journey here.
I renamed the site Oakheart for the large Garry Oak tree that resides in my front yard, guarding my front entrance.
Garry Oaks are protected by law in my neighborhood, so I feel quite blessed to have such a large specimen sharing its home with me.
